Via, a mobility platform with a distributed workforce of 400+ employees and contractors and dozens of international operator partners, needed to move from site-based VPNs and OpenVPN to a scalable, zero-trust, user-centric network. Their primary challenges were segmenting and securing role-based access to cloud applications and simplifying complex partner onboarding that could take weeks and required device troubleshooting.

Via deployed Proofpoint Meta for always-on remote access for managed devices and MetaConnect browser-based access for partners, with Okta-integrated, identity-based policies and a software-defined perimeter to make resources invisible unless explicitly allowed. The result: dynamically enforced, per-user security, customer onboarding cut from weeks to minutes, and much simpler, automated cloud network management across AWS regions.
