Jellis Craig is a leading Australian real estate firm with 28 offices and 800 staff that handles high-value residential transactions. As phishing, ransomware and business email compromise increasingly targeted the well-known brand, its legacy email security began to fail, domain spoofing and shadow IT were uncovered, and the company needed stronger protection to safeguard clients and its reputation.

Jellis Craig migrated to Proofpoint’s email security suite—including Enterprise Protection, Email Fraud Defense, TRAP and Security Awareness Training—enforcing a DMARC “reject” policy and removing unauthorized senders. Within six months it achieved DMARC reject, blocked more than 90% of phishing attempts, stopped BEC incidents without disrupting legitimate mail, gained clearer visibility into threats, and began user training that produced hundreds of reported suspicious emails (over half confirmed malicious).
