Groupe Pasteur Mutualité (GPM) is a 160+ year insurance provider serving healthcare professionals, with 500 employees and 138,000 people protected. When the pandemic shifted operations to remote work, GPM prioritized email security to protect its brand and partners, launching a DMARC initiative to stop domain spoofing and enforce a reject policy across ten domains despite a small, stretched IT team.

GPM selected Proofpoint Email Fraud Defense and worked with Proofpoint Professional Services on a phased DMARC rollout—starting with its most critical domain, gaining visibility, then implementing reject policy within five months. The solution blocked more than 2,000 spoofed messages per domain, revealed spoofing activity originating from 65 countries, reduced shadow IT and misconfigurations, and strengthened protection for the organization’s email communications and reputation.
