Proofpoint’s SocialPatrol (with Nexgate support) provided a 100% cloud-based, 24/7 automated moderation solution that scanned those 49,000+ comments and removed 1,864 posts (~3.75%) spanning scams, spam, profanity, hate speech and pornography, while permanently blocking 328 repeat offenders who would otherwise have posted roughly 1,500 malicious comments per week. The result: consistent, around-the-clock brand protection, fixed moderation costs regardless of volume, and a social team freed to focus on engagement rather than policing content.
