Gossweiler Ingenieure AG is a Swiss geoinformation specialist with a 110‑year history, seven locations and 160 employees, responsible for critical cadastral and utility data used by municipalities and public institutions. Because accurate, secure data is vital (errors can endanger lives) the firm needed to replace an outdated email security solution that produced low detection rates, many false positives and time‑consuming manual rework for IT staff.

Working with BNC, Gossweiler deployed Proofpoint Email Protection, Targeted Attack Protection (TAP) and Closed‑Loop Email Analysis and Response (CLEAR), enabling more selective email handling, easier user reporting and automated analysis. The new setup significantly improved security, drastically reduced false alarms, relieved the IT team (saving about 1.5 workweeks per year), and set the stage for expanded security awareness training.
