The Mayo Group International Pty. Ltd., a family‑owned distributor of hardware, industrial safety and retail products across Australia and New Zealand, needed a reliable, mobile end‑to‑end solution to manage high‑volume transactions and meet strict 48‑hour turnaround commitments. In 2007 the company partnered with Pronto Software to replace fragmented systems and deploy Pronto Xi along with Pronto’s Business Intelligence and Avenue e‑commerce modules.
Pronto Software implemented a customised Pronto Xi ERP, its BI platform and the Avenue mobile ordering module to remove redundant processes, provide real‑time visibility and enable mobile order capture. The solution eliminated double handling, sped up reporting, increased staff efficiency so volume growth was absorbed without a large headcount rise, sustained the 48‑hour fulfillment promise and—according to the customer—has given them a better understanding of processes and doubled their revenue.
