Shimano Oceania, the Australia and New Zealand arm of Shimano Inc., needed to consolidate two formerly independent cycling and fishing businesses that were running different versions of Pronto Software’s ERP. The customer sought a single data set and a modernised, automated supply‑chain and ecommerce platform that would integrate with its new Dematic Multishuttle GTP robotic distribution centre; Pronto Software’s Pronto Xi was chosen to deliver that solution.

Pronto Software implemented a single, fully customised Pronto Xi, integrated it with the Dematic system and built a B2B ecommerce portal, automating about 80% of order dispatches and enabling guaranteed next‑day delivery Australia‑wide. The project cut pick errors, raised pick rates, reduced warehouse headcount and overtime, lowered customer enquiry volumes, and supports Shimano Oceania’s ~4,000 distributors and 15,000 product lines—demonstrating clear operational and customer‑service gains driven by Pronto Software.
