Key Tubing & Electrical Industries (KTE), a South Australian manufacturer and wholesaler of engineered electrical and tube components, faced growing pains after rapid expansion: their legacy systems and a bolted‑on MRP to a basic accounting package couldn’t deliver accurate costing or timely operational insight. Pronto Software implemented Pronto Xi (with modules for Distribution, Sales, Maintenance, Payroll, Alert Intelligence and TrueForm Neo) plus RF scanning and automated reporting, synchronising data flows across the business. The result: MRP runs dropped from up to four hours to about 60 seconds, some employees’ workloads fell by roughly 50%, margins and daily sales are reported automatically (with a Cognos dashboard refreshing every 10 minutes) and payroll is processed automatically — enabling faster decisions, greater transparency and the capacity to meet surging demand.
