Hart Sport, a leading Australian and New Zealand distributor of sporting goods with four warehouses and some 25,000 customers, was struggling with an IT platform that couldn’t keep up with rapid growth and a recent acquisition. The company engaged Pronto Software and selected its Pronto Xi platform to deliver an integrated supply chain, inventory and financial management solution.

Pronto Software tailored Pronto Xi (Advanced Warehouse, Distribution, Financial, Alert Intelligence and CRM modules) to provide site-wide stock visibility, automated supply-chain processes and carrier integration. Within eight weeks Hart Sport saw major gains: order throughput jumped from about 100 to as many as 400 orders per day, despatch times fell to within 24 hours (down from 2–3 days), customer service handled roughly four times as many calls, and financial visibility and decision-making materially improved.
