TAO Wellness Inc., a US health and fitness hardware and software company, develops the WellShell, a mobile electronic exercise device that connects wirelessly to iOS, Android devices, and PCs. To improve the product without changing the bill of materials, TAO Wellness Inc. worked with Promwad to extend battery life beyond the initial one-day recharging period.
Promwad upgraded TAO Wellness Inc.’s software and PCB design, optimizing power consumption in both operation and sleep modes. The changes increased battery life by more than three times, and Promwad also delivered updated PCB documentation to support manufacturing and help TAO launch production without delays.
