Selection of Materials, Design Development and Production of Enclosure Parts for Lapka BAM

Lapka, the developer behind the Lapka product line, needed help turning the BAM breath alcohol monitor concept into a manufacturable premium device. Promwad supported the project with enclosure design and manufacturing, material selection, and setup of production for the product’s enclosure parts and accessories.

Promwad tested multiple materials and developed a ceramic outer enclosure with a polypropylene inner enclosure to balance premium look, durability, and resistance to alcohol vapors. The team also created the charging cord, carrying cord, and specialized production tooling, sourced electronic components, built a pilot batch, and helped launch mass production of the Lapka BAM.
