R.I.S.K. delivers 400 access control readers with Promwad

Promwad was commissioned by R.I.S.K. of Azerbaijan to develop and manufacture an access control system reader for the State Oil Fund building. The challenge was to create a reader compatible with HID R 10 standards that had a strict, stylish design with no visible mounts and a unique logo-based status indicator, all while maintaining low production costs.

Promwad designed the reader's enclosure using a multi-layered plastic construction to achieve the desired high-gloss aesthetic and functionality. Their solution integrated an HID Global module for compatibility and used the customer's logo as a multi-mode status light. Promwad managed the prototyping, made necessary refinements over four iterations, and then oversaw the small-scale production of an initial batch of 400 units through a partner in China, delivering a cost-effective product that met all specifications.
