Qoobi wins CES 2018 recognition with Promwad's wireless vacuum tube preamp prototype

The Holland-based startup Qoobi faced the challenge of developing the mechanical design for its innovative Qoobi One wireless vacuum tube preamp. They needed to choose optimal materials and technologies for prototyping and future serial production of this high-end audio device. To achieve this, they partnered with the engineering vendor Promwad.

Promwad developed the complete mechanical design, created 3D models, and manufactured prototypes using milling and 3D printing to verify materials and assembly. The solution featured non-standard materials like anodized aluminum and thin engraved quartz glass for the enclosure. The resulting prototype was successfully demonstrated at CES 2018, garnering significant industry interest and praise. Following this success, the Qoobi One went on to win multiple prestigious international awards, including the Gold A' Design Award and a Red Dot Award, confirming the excellence of the engineering and design work delivered by Promwad.
