Qoobi Audio Innovations Company, a Holland-based startup of designers, audiophiles, and engineers, wanted to develop the mechanical design for Qoobi One, a wireless tube amplifier that blends classic vacuum-tube sound with modern Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. They turned to Promwad to help turn an award-winning enclosure concept into a manufacturable product, including material selection and preparation for prototyping and serial production.

Promwad developed the mechanical design, added board fastening mechanisms, light guides, stiffeners, and an assembly scheme, and created a 3D model of the case. Using 3D printing and milling, Promwad built and tested prototypes to validate materials, coatings, assembly, and lighting behavior, ultimately enabling a design with anodized aluminum and thin quartz glass. The ready-made prototype was successfully demonstrated at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
