A Promwad Case Study
Klaric GmbH & Co. KG, a German provider of measurement systems for EV testing, faced limitations with its legacy data acquisition tools which relied on external PCs and lacked modular flexibility. To meet the demands of global OEMs, Klaric needed Promwad to develop a standalone, reconfigurable subsystem that could operate across diverse power sources while complying with strict automotive EMI/EMC standards.
Promwad engineered the LV-LOG subsystem, a standalone data logger built on Microchip's PIC32MZ DA MCU and KSZ9563R Ethernet switch. The solution delivered PC-free operation with a touchscreen interface, eMMC storage, synchronized Ethernet communication via IEEE 1588v2 PTP, and modular expansion. This provided Klaric with a scalable and industrially resilient platform, transforming its automotive data acquisition capabilities for more efficient testing in both lab and field conditions.
