European Automotive Company, a first-tier European automotive company designing dashboards and in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, needed a new version of its 2-DIN multimedia system for the global market, with different feature sets across car models. Promwad supported the project as the engineering partner for this multimedia platform.

Promwad developed and integrated a complex hardware/software entertainment and navigation system with multilingual voice activation, while also handling testing, error correction, and software portability across hardware platforms. Using MISRA C and ISO 26262-based model-driven development, Promwad helped the customer launch a modular product line, enable feature blocking for mid-range models, and reduce costs through three-level testing and QA, while forming a dedicated 10-engineer team in just 2 months.
