Promwad partnered with a European manufacturer of professional broadcast equipment to solve a complex challenge. The client needed a reliable way to stream and record high-resolution camera video over a network with minimal latency and no quality loss. Their requirement was for a system that could seamlessly integrate cameras from multiple vendors and scale from single to multi-camera setups.

The Promwad team designed and developed a software solution powered by the NDI (Network Device Interface) protocol. This solution included a high-performance C++ application using DPDK for network throughput and CUDA for GPU-accelerated decoding, plus control modules built with Python. The resulting platform enabled low-latency 8K video transmission, provided a scalable foundation for future products, and gave the client a competitive advantage in the professional video production market.
