USA Ecommerce Company, a popular U.S.-based fashion ecommerce platform, needed to scrape clothing data from around 100 fashion sites such as GAP, Macy’s, and Nordstrom. The challenge was to collect detailed product information, including all variants like colors and sizes, on a daily basis. PromptCloud’s site-specific crawl service was used to handle the different site structures.

PromptCloud built and deployed crawlers to extract product name, description, specifications, pricing, discounts, and variant data, then delivered the output in CSV format directly to the customer’s S3 locations on a daily schedule. The initial setup was completed in a few days, with about 200K records delivered in the first crawl and around 1 million records scraped and delivered daily thereafter, helping the customer launch its fashion app marketplace quickly.
