PromptCloud worked with a well-known budget hotel chain in the travel industry that needed up-to-date hotel pricing across India twice a day to improve pricing and offerings. The challenge was handling highly dynamic OTA data feeds with strict timing, predefined extraction fields, set check-in/check-out dates, INR-only pricing, and scheduled file uploads that could arrive in different morning/afternoon combinations—or not at all.

PromptCloud built automated crawlers to monitor a file-sharing server at preset times, pick up files when available, process them in the required format, and ensure delivery before 11:59 p.m. the same day. The solution also converted non-INR prices to INR, controlled crawl aggressiveness to avoid blocking, and supported twice-monthly inventory crawls. As a result, the client gained flexible, reliable access to data, reduced internal effort by about 23%, and used the insights to improve pricing and promotion strategies across its network.
