Automobile Company partnered with PromptCloud to gather cars data from a wide range of automobile websites, including classified sites, auto spare parts sites, blogs, and forums. The challenge was to extract consistent data points such as product ID, post title, location, seller details, make and model, descriptions, and prices from many differently structured sources on a daily basis.

PromptCloud implemented a site-specific crawl and extraction solution, setting up crawlers for the client’s source list and delivering fresh data every day in CSV format to the client’s S3 servers. The setup was completed in just 3 days, and the crawlers began producing about 300k records daily, while also handling dynamic websites and source monitoring to ensure no data was missed.
