Nissan needed a way to align its national marketing content with local dealers and improve dealer participation in digital marketing. In mid-2014, Nissan turned to Promoboxx and its dealer digital marketing solution to help extend brand content to local consumers and support its growing U.S. market-share goals.
Promoboxx implemented a coordinated dealer marketing program that included rep training, dealer communications, and data cleanup to ensure valid dealer contacts. The results were strong: within 7 days, dealer activation exceeded Nissan’s 6-month goal, and by 3 months more than 80% of dealers were active; today the program reports 98% active dealer network, 78% dealer engagement, and 62,000 dealer actions.
