Promet Source built a Drupal 10 website that balanced historical charm with modern functionality. The solution utilized WebP image formatting to automatically convert and optimize large historical images without losing quality, ensuring strong site performance. The design incorporated vintage fonts and aged-looking elements to create an authentic historical feel. The site launched successfully in early 2024 and is already encouraging community engagement by building anticipation and serving as a central communications hub for the upcoming centennial events.
