Zions Bancorporation, one of the oldest financial institutions in the Intermountain West, wanted to improve how it captured, retained, and used customer data to support a more seamless digital experience. With customers expecting more personalized service, the bank needed a better data strategy and a clearer view of customer information. Prolifics helped Zions assess its readiness for a master data management approach, including an evaluation of data gaps across its eight divisions.

Prolifics implemented a Customer Data Information Hub using IBM InfoSphere Customer MDM, QualityStage, DataStage, ESB, and Universal Customer Lookup (UCL). The solution created a trusted, unified view of customer data across the bank, improving visibility, standardization, and consistency while honoring customer contact preferences. As a result, Zions gained better support for targeted offers, stronger customer interactions, and a more scalable data foundation that reduced maintenance and ownership costs.
