The US-based retailer, a global leader in apparel and home furnishings, faced inefficiencies with a manual, paper-based process for restocking store shelves. To improve customer service and operational costs, the retailer partnered with Prolifics to develop an enterprise-level mobile application that could leverage real-time data and required a scalable integration platform.

Prolifics implemented the solution by upgrading the retailer's enterprise service bus to IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and using IBM Worklight to build a mobile app. This provided real-time visibility into inventory and streamlined the restocking process.
