The US financial institution, a century-old provider of investment and insurance products, faced significant challenges with its critical Tax Work Station (TWS) application. The legacy infrastructure, running on end-of-life versions of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IBM MQ, was housed in a vendor-controlled datacenter, creating security risks, high support costs, and a lack of internal control.
