University of Portsmouth secures 26,000-student assessments with Prolifics Testing

The University of Portsmouth (UoP) required assurance that its new Tribal Cloud-hosted system for Clearing could handle significant user load from students applying via self-application, admissions, and the call centre. They engaged Prolifics Testing to conduct performance testing to validate the platform's capabilities ahead of this critical period.

Prolifics utilized its purpose-built SITS Performance Test Cloud to successfully identify and help resolve issues, guaranteeing a smooth Clearing period. This initial success led to a multi-year partnership where Prolifics Testing provided performance testing for additional systems, including Online Registration and a migration to the CMISGo platform. The work gave UoP's senior stakeholders confidence in their systems' reliability and directly supported successful infrastructure upgrades and platform launches.
