Clipper, a leading UK retail logistics company, faced a challenge ensuring its new MuleSoft integration and Warehouse Management System could handle a load of 700 order requests per minute with sub-second response times and no data loss. Prolifics Testing was engaged to conduct comprehensive performance testing to provide this confidence for onboarding new customers.

Prolifics Testing implemented a solution using a custom Apache JMeter framework to perform end-to-end performance testing on all Inbound and Outbound APIs. This revealed critical infrastructure limitations and data loss issues, which were rectified. After fixes, the system successfully achieved a response time of under one second for 700 requests per minute. The performance framework was also designed to be reusable for future regression testing, providing Clipper with long-term value.
