Reprogramming of the dosing unit for tea manufacturer Martin Bauer has provided ProLeiT with fertile ground for continued cooperation

Martin Bauer Group, a global tea manufacturer and part of the nature network®, faced challenges with its outdated process automation system, including insufficient support and deteriorating service from its former provider. This jeopardized the precise and efficient production of its numerous tea blends. Seeking a reliable partner, Martin Bauer turned to vendor ProLeiT to migrate its control system and ensure future flexibility, selecting the Plant iT process control system for the project.

ProLeiT successfully implemented its Plant iT system to reprogram Martin Bauer's dosing unit, transferring all existing functions one-to-one to the new platform. The project, completed from May to September 2016, resulted in a fully automated and highly reliable control system. The successful collaboration and positive results, including on-time project completion and 24/7 support, led to ProLeiT being commissioned for further projects, including software adaptation for another system, an energy management initiative using Plant Acquis iT EnMS, and an operating data recording system for another business unit.
