Eckes-Granini, a leading European juice producer, sought to gain comprehensive transparency into its energy consumption data to identify optimization opportunities and reduce costs across its production plants. To meet this challenge, they partnered with process automation vendor ProLeiT to implement a new energy data acquisition system.

ProLeiT implemented its Plant Acquis iT EnMS add-on, which acquired and integrated meter data from the entire process level with production order data. This solution provided Eckes-Granini with full, transparent access to energy consumption figures, allowing them to perform detailed analyses. As a result, the company can now instantly calculate energy costs per bottle, compare consumption across different plants and container sizes, and has replaced manual, error-prone processes with efficient, automated digital data collection. ProLeiT's system also enabled the recording of utility costs, delivering significant efficiency gains and a foundation for continuous improvement.
