Dr. C. Soldan, a German manufacturer of herbal drops and confectionery, faced a challenge with its aging manual weighing systems. To address this, they partnered with vendor ProLeiT to implement a new manual weighing system.
ProLeiT successfully implemented its Plant iT process control system (version 9.60) and the Plant Batch iT Manual Weighing System add-on across six production lines with ten scales. The solution provided full transparency through automated reports, replaced a paper-based system, and eliminated uneconomical weighing and off-specification batches. The customer-focused and pragmatic approach from ProLeiT led to a highly successful outcome, ensuring high quality standards and paving the way for further joint projects.
