Complete process automation for the new brewing site

Grolsche Bierbrouwerij (Grolsch) faced the challenge of building a new, ultra-modern brewery that required maximum efficiency, flexibility, and environmental-friendliness, integrated across all process stages and fully automated. To achieve this, they partnered with the vendor ProLeiT to implement a complete process automation solution using the brewmaxx system.

ProLeiT's solution was a brewmaxx system that was fully compliant with the ISA S88.01 standard and integrated with the customer's SAP R/3 ERP system. The system automated the entire production process, from raw materials to shipping, providing real-time data, comprehensive tracking and tracing, and powerful MES functions. The results included a 25% reduction in water consumption, a goal to be one of the world's top ten most energy-efficient breweries, and a model of efficiency with minimized personnel and maintenance requirements for future operations.
