Bell's Brewery, a major US craft brewery, faced a challenge to modernize its IT security and production control systems as Microsoft was ending support for its existing Windows 7 and Server 2012 operating systems. To prevent future security risks and upgrade its capabilities, Bell’s partnered with vendor ProLeiT to update its brewmaxx process control system.

ProLeiT implemented a comprehensive solution that involved upgrading the server and workstation operating systems, migrating the brewmaxx software to a new version, and implementing the Batch Cockpit add-on. The entire complex project, including data transfer and staff training, was completed in just two weeks with minimal production downtime. The results included significantly increased IT security, a more powerful system with enhanced data evaluation functionalities, and the assurance of Bell's high product quality throughout the transition.
