Zimmer Biomet, a Fortune 500 orthopedic and musculoskeletal manufacturer, wanted to create a personalized content resource for patients and caregivers covering pre-surgery planning, surgery, recovery, healthy living, and doctor-finding support. The company partnered with ProKarma (PK) to design a direct-to-consumer experience that could educate users and guide them through their joint replacement journey.

ProKarma built Zimmer Biomet’s first content hub on Adobe Experience Manager, using Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics to enable personalization, interactivity, and journey-based content tagging. The solution created an inbound marketing and engagement engine, driving significant increases in organic and paid search traffic, direct visits, email opt-ins, story engagement, and social sharing, while also supporting ongoing optimization of content, SEO, and analytics.
