Omaha National, a Nebraska-based insurance provider serving small and medium-sized businesses through agencies and brokers, needed a better way to manage commissions across multiple systems. Working with ProKarma, the company wanted to connect Salesforce with its third-party insurance platform and Accounting Seed so it could track policyholder payments, agency policy details, and commission rates in one place.
ProKarma built a custom Salesforce “Commissions” object and integrated it with the insurance platform using Dell Boomi, while leveraging Accounting Seed’s native Salesforce integration for payment data. The solution automated commission calculations, generated monthly commission statements and payable checks, and gave Omaha National clearer reporting and dispute resolution capabilities—reducing manual work and speeding up month-end processing.
