New England Biolabs (NEB), a life science leader, partnered with ProKarma to replace legacy digital systems that could no longer scale with the company’s growing product catalog, traffic, and marketing needs. NEB needed a modern digital foundation to improve customer experience, create a single source of truth for complex product data, and support better content, commerce, and mobile experiences. ProKarma helped NEB replatform its website and product catalog onto Sitecore and integrate it with a new ecommerce platform.

ProKarma re-architected and redesigned neb.com, built a custom product management application, and streamlined content reuse, publishing workflows, and structured product data management. The solution also added faceted search, cross-referencing, bookmarking, and direct ordering from search results. Results included a 13%+ increase in pages viewed per visit, a 29% increase in time on site, a 74%+ increase in time spent after search, an 86% decrease in immediate exits after search, and major efficiency gains: adding marketing forms and videos became 100% faster and modifying content became over 400% faster.
