Lindsay Corp. increases sales through IoT App

Lindsay Corporation, an industrial products company, wanted to create more value for customers and find new revenue streams in a highly competitive market. Working with ProKarma, the team set out to develop an IoT app to complement its FieldNET® by Lindsay irrigation management software and help the company stay ahead in a connected, fast-changing industry.

ProKarma helped Lindsay launch FieldNET mobile in 2012, giving growers remote access to monitor and control irrigation systems, pumps, valves, injectors, and frost protection from iPhone, iPad, or Android devices. The app also captured sensor data and integrated with Salesforce Service Cloud for alerts, improving water efficiency and convenience; it earned international attention, was named a top 10 new product at the World Ag Expo, and helped turn Lindsay’s IT team into a profit center.
