InEight, a subsidiary of construction giant Kiewit, set out to solve a major industry challenge: building cloud-based project management software capable of handling massive capital projects with hundreds of contractors, complex workflows, and billions of dollars in costs. To bring the initiative to life, InEight partnered with ProKarma (PK), which evaluated the company’s needs and recommended Microsoft Azure as the cloud platform for the solution.

ProKarma helped assemble a combined team of more than 300 resources and delivered the project through a distributed agile approach across the U.S., India, and Argentina. The result was a feature-rich, mobile-enabled project management platform that integrated with ERP systems and launched on schedule, with three additional releases planned within a year. The solution improved field productivity with tablet, smartphone, voice, and gesture-based capabilities, and ProKarma continues to support InEight with marketing, implementation, customization, and ongoing support.
