HVAC leader builds viable roadmap to SAP S/4HANA

Greenheck, a global leader in industrial HVAC manufacturing, needed a clearer path forward for its complex SAP environment. With business processes spanning Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Report, and Hire to Retire across four continents, the company was considering SAP S/4HANA but was concerned about risk, functionality gaps, training effort, and the limits of available market information. Greenheck turned to ProKarma for a Proof of Concept to validate the value of SAP S/4HANA and help guide its upgrade strategy.

ProKarma built a copy of Greenheck’s SAP ERP 6.0 EHPS QA environment in AWS and converted it to SAP S/4HANA, while also using custom code remediation tools to address 98% of potential migration issues. The PoC showed that Greenheck’s core SAP ERP environment was compatible with S/4HANA, demonstrated the impact of conversion, and let the IT team test new functionality and plan the rollout. As a result, ProKarma helped Greenheck create a viable, cost-effective roadmap for future SAP and ERP modernization, with objective data to support leadership approval.
