One of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health plan providers partnered with ProKarma to improve testing for two mobile apps used by millions of members. Facing the complexity of mobile app testing across iOS and Android, the customer needed a unified automation framework to shift testing left, increase coverage, and support frequent releases with reliable certification across many device configurations.

ProKarma designed and built a smart, unified automation framework using Appium WebDriver, Appium Grids, Page Object model design, and integrations with Rally and Jenkins. The solution reduced the regression cycle from three weeks to one week, supported more than 1,000 test cases with 70% reusability across a grid of over 25 devices, and helped reduce defects while improving cost efficiency and release quality.
