Charter Communications, a leading US broadband connectivity company and cable operator, needed a way to keep its quarterly agile planning sessions moving when the pandemic made in-person meetings impossible. The company turned to ProKarma to help recreate its 2-day Big Room Planning events in a remote format that could keep business, product, and technology teams aligned and engaged.

ProKarma designed a virtual Big Room Planning experience using collaboration tools, digital planning boards, virtual breakout rooms, and gamified retrospectives to support forecasting, commitment, and interdependency planning. The result was a productive and engaging planning process that saved travel costs, improved collaboration, and was successful enough that Charter plans to keep using the virtual format even after returning to the office.
