American Auto Insurance Company, which serves more than 16 million private passenger customers and insures more than 27 million vehicles, wanted to improve its emergency roadside assistance experience. The company needed a simpler mobile app that could better serve policyholders in urgent situations and reduce the number of support calls to representatives. ProKarma helped address this challenge with a focus on the roadside assistance app.

ProKarma designed and delivered the app using conceptual designs, storyboards, wireframes, user testing, and a high-fidelity prototype. The solution streamlined roadside help requests with location-based services, a ride-hailing-style tow truck process, and real-time status updates, making it faster and easier for drivers to get assistance without calling in. As a result, American Auto Insurance Company improved the customer experience and reduced phone calls to its representatives.
