Swiss scientists are using Projectplace for teamwork and projects

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland faced the recurring challenge of exchanging studies, records and documents across 50 institutes and coordinating interdisciplinary research with external partners. Seeking a secure, web-hosted and mobile-friendly collaboration tool that supported document management, project planning and online conferencing, the university selected Planview ProjectPlace as its central platform.

Planview ProjectPlace was rolled out as a web-based collaboration and app solution, providing document management, Project Boards, task/milestone tracking and workflow support. The platform has been used for more than two years by professors, lecturers and students, reduced the volume of email while keeping teams informed, and proved scalable across small and large projects; an internal evaluation found document management to be the most-used feature and Project Boards effective for ad-hoc coordination.
