PMI Munich Chapter e.V. executes its projects with Projectplace

PMI Munich Chapter, the largest PMI chapter in Germany, needed a proven, easy-to-use collaboration tool to coordinate volunteers running events, workshops and local projects while keeping tasks, documents and resources visible. To address this challenge they adopted Planview ProjectPlace, a web-based project collaboration solution offering Kanban boards, linked project plans, Gantt views, resource management and cloud integrations.

Planview ProjectPlace became the central platform for planning, tracking and document exchange, with volunteers using Kanban boards tied to project schedules and integrating Dropbox for file sharing. As a result, PMI Munich Chapter achieved greater transparency, smoother collaboration and more efficient resource management, reduced errors on large efforts like the biennial PM Summit, and encouraged wider adoption of the tool across other German chapters.
