Implementing an international ERP project with Projectplace

Deutsche Leasing AG, a leading German leasing company, needed a secure, centralized way to coordinate complex international IT work and an ERP rollout spanning 22 countries that would affect roughly 500 staff. To meet strict finance‑industry security requirements and simplify cross‑border collaboration, Deutsche Leasing AG adopted Planview ProjectPlace’s Projectplace web‑based project management and collaboration platform in early 2014.

Planview ProjectPlace’s Projectplace provided centralized document sharing, kanban boards, Gantt charts, milestones, role‑based access and online meetings—allowing internal teams and external consultants to collaborate with traceability and minimal training. As a result, Deutsche Leasing AG has already run multiple smaller projects with about 70 foreign and 45 German colleagues collaborating and is now planning a four‑year ERP rollout across 22 countries for ~500 staff, achieving faster, more reliable implementations and improved project documentation.
