Egedal Municipality, created by a 2007 municipal merger and operating across three locations in North Zealand, Denmark, struggled to maintain momentum, coordinate tasks and get a clear overall picture of project status. IT Project Manager Christine Lindeløv-Rasmussen selected Planview ProjectPlace (Projectplace) in spring 2011 to address inefficient communication and improve version control, task management and follow-up.

Planview ProjectPlace was implemented via a three‑month trial and quickly became integral to daily work, strengthening document version- and task-management while vastly improving flexibility and transparency. The tool gives all eight users immediate visibility into individual and overall progress, enabled better task allocation and follow-up across the municipality’s sites, and remained in continued use after the trial—demonstrating clear operational impact from Planview ProjectPlace.
