Stanford University builds seven housing websites over a decade with Project6 Design

Stanford University's Faculty Staff Housing division faced the challenge of creating a cohesive yet distinct online presence for its multiple residential communities. They needed to attract new faculty and staff while also serving existing residents, all within a platform that could scale across different properties and meet the university's high standards for security and accessibility. They enlisted Project6 Design to undertake this branding and website design project.

Project6 designed and developed an open-source Drupal website as the first piece of a scalable brand system. The solution was so successful that it led to the immediate creation of six additional sister sites. The result was a family of seven easy-to-maintain websites that provided an excellent experience for both prospects and residents while maintaining a consistent brand identity. Project6 continued to maintain and evolve these sites for nearly a decade, becoming a trusted advisor to the Stanford team.
