How Lorang Improved Partner & Customer Communication

Lorang, a Luxembourg logistics company specializing in special and heavy-load transports with 110 tractor units and about 60 subcontractors, struggled to coordinate escort vehicles and plan time-sensitive routes through construction zones because partners used many different telematics systems and manual processes. To address this, Lorang engaged project44, using GateHouse Logistics (now part of project44’s Advanced Visibility Platform) to gain real-time tracking and improved partner communication.

project44 implemented the Advanced Visibility Platform to manage subcontractor and master data, merge tour and shipment data to calculate precise ETAs, normalize vehicle data across disparate telematics systems, and enable automated status updates (removing vehicles from the system when jobs finish). As a result, Lorang can track every vehicle in real time, deliver more accurate ETAs, improve routing and exception management, and increase partner trust through secure, limited location sharing.
