Nestlé's distribution center in Avanca faced a challenge with decentralized data spread across multiple systems and spreadsheets, which made time-consuming analysis and sharing information difficult. This hindered their ability to react and improve operations. To address this, Nestlé partnered with vendor ProGrow to digitize its processes and increase operational performance through real-time KPI monitoring.

The solution implemented by ProGrow involved integrating data from five different information systems to provide crucial real-time visibility into operations. This included the creation of automatic reports for performance meetings and the digitization of continuous improvement tools. As a result, ProGrow helped Nestlé achieve a potential 34.5% reduction in time without added value and potential annual gains of €760k, alongside a significant increase in continuous improvement initiatives.
