A Progressive PR & Communications Case Study
The Continence Foundation of Australia faced the challenge of encouraging people to upload their local public toilets to keep the National Public Toilet Map updated. They engaged Progressive PR & Communications to create a PR campaign that would increase registrations and remove the stigma around discussing the topic.
Progressive PR & Communications implemented a campaign timed around the Easter school holidays, using a relatable family photo to generate widespread media pickup. The solution successfully reached an audience of over 2.4 million and achieved an advertising space rate of nearly $1 million AUD. The campaign resulted in 1,155 toilets being added to the map, and Progressive PR & Communications also helped secure two dedicated volunteers who continued to add new facilities regularly.
