Triodos Bank Improves Development Efficiency with NativeScript

Triodos Bank, a sustainable financial services provider, wanted to overhaul its digital ecosystem and replace an outdated Cordova-based mobile app with a modern omnichannel experience. The bank needed a way to deliver native-quality customer experiences across iOS and Android while keeping a small development team agile and efficient, and it turned to Progress Software’s NativeScript platform to help.

Progress Software implemented NativeScript to let Triodos Bank reuse web skills, share code across platforms, and build truly native cross-platform apps with a single codebase. As a result, Triodos Bank launched its new UK mobile banking app in just five months, followed by apps for the Netherlands and Dutch markets, while accelerating time to market and adding features that show customers how their money supports positive impact.
